Build and Kill Zombies Car Parts

Use Build and Kill Zombies structure, wheel, mount, and vehicle roles to assemble a compact car and verify every new part safely.

Car parts are the pieces that make the vehicle structurally usable before weapons, defenses, and upgrades are considered. Current same-game walkthroughs show broad builder roles for blocks or structure, wheels, engines, and fuel. The developer does not publish a complete catalog, so use the live name and description for every item you roll.

Structure
Connects useful components and shapes the vehicle.
Valid faces, attachment strength, mass, and removal behavior.
Wheels / contact
Supports movement, steering, and balance.
Orientation, powered status if shown, size, and compatibility.
Mounts / supports
Provides a valid place for another role.
Slot requirement, allowed item family, and whether it survives contact.

Build a compact frame

Use only enough structure to hold the required roles and protect their attachment points. Long unsupported arms and decorative tails can add complexity without improving the run. Keep the centerline easy to see so left and right placement can be compared.

Attach new structure to a clearly valid face and confirm it remains after leaving placement mode. If deleting or replacing a piece might affect cost or inventory, read the live warning first; refund behavior was not verified for this page.

Place wheels and ground contact

Start symmetrically. Compare forward/back position, height, rotation, and distance from the centerline. Test steering before zombie contact. If the car pulls immediately, correct placement before changing the engine or adding weapons.

Different wheel items may change more than appearance, but exact stats were not confirmed in a first-party table. Record the displayed property and repeat the same short route. Do not assign a speed or grip value based on rarity color alone.

Use mounts and supports carefully

A mount is useful only when it accepts the intended part and survives the route. Check which inventory family can attach, whether a skill or support slot is required, and which direction the attached item faces.

Avoid placing a valuable weapon on an exposed connector without testing impact. If the support breaks before the main frame, protect or reposition the attachment rather than surrounding the entire car with extra mass.

Record a new part

For each new vehicle item, capture name, family, source, current cost, displayed rarity, description, attachment rule, and checked date. Add observed effect only after installing it on a known-good baseline. Leave unsupported fields blank.

Use one test card: previous part, new part, same route, same driver, launch result, control, distance, stopping reason, and Cash. That is enough to decide whether the new roll belongs in the current build without pretending to know the hidden physics.

Common part mistakes

Owning is not installing. A part visible in inventory may not be attached. A green preview may still face the wrong direction. A rare piece may fill no current role. A larger structure may protect one side while destabilizing the other.

Do not roll repeatedly without a target family. Decide whether the vehicle lacks structure, control, power, fuel, or zombie contact. Then spend only in the menu that can address that role.

Troubleshoot by reverting

If a new part makes the car worse, restore the last working layout and verify it still behaves the same. Reinstall the new item alone. If the failure returns, capture the placement and current item panel.

When both versions fail after an update, rebuild the minimum car and check the live tutorial. The Build Troubleshooting guide covers launch, steering, placement, and fuel symptoms in order.

Combine with other systems

Use Engines and Fuel for range and power decisions. Use Weapons and Defenses after the base car launches. The Starter Car Build turns these roles into a first-run layout.

Skills may change roll quality, support capacity, or another progression field, but exact node effects must come from the current menu. Do not classify a missing skill as a part bug until the builder shows the requirement.

Confidence

The part families and role workflow are community corroborated from current same-game guides checked September 25, 2026. Item names, complete inventory, rarity, odds, price, mass, and compatibility remain needs in-game testing unless shown by the current UI.
